For Ramee

Psalm 77

1 I cry out to God; yes, I shout.
Oh, that God would listen to me!
2 When I was in deep trouble,
I searched for the Lord.
All night long I prayed, with hands lifted toward heaven,
but my soul was not comforted.
3 I think of God, and I moan,
overwhelmed with longing for his help.
Interlude

4 You don’t let me sleep.
I am too distressed even to pray!
5 I think of the good old days,
long since ended,
6 when my nights were filled with joyful songs.
I search my soul and ponder the difference now.
7 Has the Lord rejected me forever?
Will he never again be kind to me?
8 Is his unfailing love gone forever?
Have his promises permanently failed?
9 Has God forgotten to be gracious?
Has he slammed the door on his compassion?
Interlude

10 And I said, “This is my fate;
the Most High has turned his hand against me.”
11 But then I recall all you have done, O Lord;
I remember your wonderful deeds of long ago.
12 They are constantly in my thoughts.
I cannot stop thinking about your mighty works.
13 O God, your ways are holy.
Is there any god as mighty as you?
14 You are the God of great wonders!
You demonstrate your awesome power among the nations.
15 By your strong arm, you redeemed your people,
the descendants of Jacob and Joseph.
Interlude

16 When the Red Sea[a] saw you, O God,
its waters looked and trembled!
The sea quaked to its very depths.
17 The clouds poured down rain;
the thunder rumbled in the sky.
Your arrows of lightning flashed.
18 Your thunder roared from the whirlwind;
the lightning lit up the world!
The earth trembled and shook.
19 Your road led through the sea,
your pathway through the mighty waters—
a pathway no one knew was there!
20 You led your people along that road like a flock of sheep,
with Moses and Aaron as their shepherds.

Christmas @ Our Home

So yesterday we did nothing as normal. We had Christmas at our house with Taco Salad. YES I said Taco Salad! I love abnormalties!!!

Here are some moments from that...

*Charlie's new hoodie I bought for him at Penny Lanes with a matching turtle patch that mom sewed on for him since he's now captured the nickname "turtle" from a co-worker.

Adoption/Foster Parents

Not sure what direction we want to go yet. We're obviously undeserving of children for some reason. Not sure what we did wrong. Before he tries to get another job, he's going to use the insurance he has to get a sperm test so we at least know where we are with him.
Praying...lots of changes coming!
Busy with a snowman making party tomorrow! Pictures to follow! So excited!

Fallen moment #2

God, I feel like I'm falling .
I did it again.
I've done it again. I've sinned. Blatantly sinned. I can't be friends with sinners, I've realized this, because when I am, I fall to old habits.

I'm so sorry Lord, I'm just suffering so, and I don't know why ...I'm doubting Lord, and I don't want to be!

Please help me see that Faith is the only way!

Love,
Ashley

More Promises To Stand On

Is it God's will that I give birth to children?

-YES! Absolutely!

Genesis 1:28
Then God blessed them and said, "Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it. Reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the animals that scurry along the ground."

It's not God's will to hold any blessings from you!

Psalm 84:11
For the LORD God is our sun and our shield. He gives us grace and glory. The LORD will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right.

Psalm 113:9
He gives the childless woman a family, making her a happy mother. Praise the LORD!

You are already blessed with fruitfulness
Because of what Jesus did for us on the Cross, all believers are blessed with the blessings of faithful Abraham. Are you married to a person of the opposite sex? Are you a born-again believer? If yes, then the blessing of fruitfulness of the womb is already available to you. All you have to do is apply faith (confidence) in God's willingness and ability to make you fruitful and most assuredly fruitfulness of the womb will be realized and appropriated to you. In addition, you are entitled to a normal childbirth free from Miscarriage [Exodus 23:26].

Galatians 3:29, Galatians 3:9
"Now that you belong to Christ, you are the true children of Abraham. You are his heirs, and now all the promises God gave to him belong to you."

Deuteronomy 7:14
You shall be blessed above all peoples; there shall not be a male or female barren among you or among your livestock.

Exodus 23:26
There shall be no one miscarrying or barren in your land; I will fulfill the number of your days.

Respond to Infertility with Faith and Prayer
The Bible shows us through example how to overcome infertility problems. The remedy for infertility and/or miscarriage is by faith and prayer. You now see that it is definitely God's will for you to be fruitful in your body (fertile) so respond to the mountain of infertility with faith and the spoken word. Call those things that be not as though they were. Saturate yourself in the word until faith springs forth and you believe the word of God more than you believe your natural circumstances, your doctors diagnosis, and old wives tales. All those reports in the natural may be real but truth exists beyond what you can see, taste, hear, smell, or touch. Use your faith in God's word to appropriate his blessings, and most assuredly, soon your desire for children will be realized. Praise God!

Romans 4:17-18
Abraham's faith did not weaken, even though he knew that he was too old to be a father at the age of one hundred and that Sarah, his wife, had never been able to have children. He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God.

Hebrews 11:11
By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised.

Rebekah conceived her first child in answer to Isaac's prayers.

Genesis 25:21
Isaac pleaded with the LORD on behalf of his wife, because she was unable to have children. The LORD answered Isaac's prayer, and Rebekah became pregnant with twins.

Hannah's prayers for a child were answered.

1 Samuel 1:27
I prayed for this child, and the LORD has granted me what I asked of him.

John the Baptist was conceived as the result of Zechariah's prayers.

Luke 1:13, 14
But the angel said to him, Do not be afraid, Zacharias, for your prayer is heard; and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall call his name John. And you will have joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at his birth.

Receive It.

So, since God's given me the name of my child one day at work that He promised to give me, I was excited at the time, but I've let that promise slowly fade. I never grabbed hold of it. I never took it, thanked Him, and RECEIVED IT. Not even after a lady who called me named Connie said she prayed I would have MORE eggs. Samson Elliott Day is closer and closer to getting here and I can FEEL it. God told me last night in the silence and the stillness and quiet calmness all around me that we would be able to tell my family this Christmas that I was finally pregnant.
He showed me a vision so strong I almost started crying right then and there. I saw myself wrapping up a little onesie and giving it to my mom with a little Santa Hat and her opening it and crying profusley.
In the vision, we gave her this gift last of course as a most beautiful surprise and either I or Charlie was filming it the whole time.
I can't wait. I will grab hold of that promise and claim healing for our reproductive organs, our fertility, and my back!
Ever since I've claimed healing at the cross ...Jesus has already healed Charlie's sperm. How do I know? I can just tell, I'll leave the details out, unless someone wants to know, but I KNOW IT! I thanked God last night that it was healed!

Doctors?! HA!
All we need we have in the ultimate healer and he did that long, long, ago!

how to pray.

Continue to meditate on the truth until you see your past and your condition (such as sickness, disease or infertility) as God sees it – disarmed and powerless. Don’t allow any sickness or disease to have an exalted position in your life anymore. Stop looking at yourself and what you can or can’t do, and look to what Jesus HAS DONE! Healing is a free gift that we received upon our salvation. We were saved by grace through faith. God will NOT withhold what He has already provided! Healing is your inheritance so you can freely embrace what Jesus has already purchased for you!
